As a home nears completion, one of the most important parts of the process we complete is a trim walk. Typically, trim walks include several members of the Tanzanite Homes team including our field superintendent, internal project manager, and trim carpenter. All these key team members come together to walk through the home and ensure the vision of your home comes to life.
Trim walks help our team make sure that all of the inspiration you bring to us in the design stages of the process is transferred to your new home. Whether it’s through your conversations with our internal project manager or our kitchen designers, we have proven, reliable processes for documenting all of your custom home’s details so every bit of inspiration is captured.
Then during a trim walk our team comes together with you to confirm your new home’s trim placement, detail, and design. In each room, our team will review building plans and make sure that all trim pieces match your approved designs. This helps us be sure that we deliver a custom home that’s exactly what you envisioned. This essential part of our building process ensures that even the smallest details of your new home are move-in ready.
